Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy
At Rural Decor, we strive to provide you with high-quality home decor products and a seamless shopping experience. However, we understand that sometimes returns or cancellations may be necessary. Please review our policy below to understand our processes for returns, refunds, and cancellations.
1. Return Eligibility
You can return products if they are:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Not as described
2. Unboxing Video Requirement
To facilitate returns and refunds for damaged or defective products, an unboxing video is mandatory. This video should clearly show the package being opened and the condition of the product upon arrival.
3. No Warranty
Please note that our products do not come with any warranty. Any defects or issues must be reported within the specified time frames.
4. Return Request Timeframes
- Damaged or Defective Products: You have 48 hours from the time of delivery to raise a return request for products that are damaged or defective.
- Not as Described: For products that are not as described, you have 15 days from the date of delivery to raise a return request.
5. Return Procedure
Returning a product is very convenient. If you have received a product that is damaged, defective, or not as described, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@ruraldecor.com or call us at +91 9888277728 within the specified timeframe. Provide your order number and a brief description of the issue.
- Provide Evidence: For damaged or defective products, please attach the unboxing video along with photographs clearly showing the damage or defect.
- Return Authorization: Once we review your request, we will authorize the return and provide you with a return shipping label and instructions.
- Pack and Ship: Securely pack the product in its original packaging and affix the return shipping label. Drop off the package at the designated shipping carrier location or arrange for a pickup if available.
- Refund Processing: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
6. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order.
- Orders once shipped cannot be cancelled.
7. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept return requests if they are made after the specified time frames (15 days from the date of delivery for items you dislike, 48 hours for damaged or defective items).
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
- Customized or personalized products
- Items purchased on clearance or during a final sale.
- Any part of the package is missing, including the price tag, accessories, labels, or original packing.
- The product is damaged due to misuse or physical damage caused by human error.
- For customized products, refunds will only be issued if the item is received in a damaged or defective condition. There will be no refunds for customer dislike. Examples include wall art, wallpaper, etc
